Sometimes when you want to print an important document, you shoot print command but nothing happens. And when you look at the printer you see a message “Printer Offline”. But don’t worry with our helping guide you can get your printer back online in no time. You just need to follow the steps given below to get your printer back online.
Step 1: Go to Setting and select Printers.
Step 2: Now right-click on the Printer option and select Use Printer Offline.
Step 3: Now clear the print jobs if any. Double-click on your printer and go to Printer Menu option and then select Cancel All Documents option. Because there could be a stuck printing job that could cause printer offline issue. Test try to print a new job and see if its working or not.
Step 4: Reboot your printer. Switch it off and then turn it on. Cross check for printer jam and network connections to make sure that connections are working fine.
Step 5: Now restart your computer. If it still doesn’t work then reinstall your printer drivers. For this, go to Settings > Printers > right-click printer > choose Properties. Now under the General or Details Tab select the Driver button and choose the printer driver again. If you need to download the printer drivers you can do that from your printer’s manufacturing website.
Step 6: Now reinstall your printer. Now go to Settings > Printers > select the printer and delete it. And through Add Printer Wizard install the printer again.
